Hi, my name is Alma and I was born in Guatemala.  As a child I loved to draw and enjoyed coloring.  My inspiration to create comes from my mother.  She was very crafty and taught me how to crochet and make other crafts.  After moving to the U.S., a lot had changed, but my love for arts and crafts was still very strong.  Fast forward a few years and I got married to my husband (who also enjoys being creative). Together we made jewelry, paint, worked with leather and that is when I started to crochet again.  It was then where I felt most comfortable and creative doing crochet work.  I started to make beanies, headbands and scarves.  From there my confidence grew and I began to make small animals figures.  People fell in love with them!  The small animals were a springboard to me releasing more products through crochet.  Now 5 years later I am lucky enough to do crochet work full-time and I am in love with yarn now more than ever.
